If you had to answer the question, “What is the most important cabinet in your house?” what would you say? The plate and glass cabinet right? This cabinet is opened everyday in most households…even those who don’t know how to turn on their oven have to open this cabinet to grab something. Now in some blessed homes you have enough cabinet space to have your glasses and plates separate, well in my humble abode they have to share a space like siblings often do…I mean they are family are they not? You usually get not only a plate but a glass too.
Well, we recently were able to upgrade our “children” lollllll with some new plates and glasses. The cabinet looks so uniform and pretty now!
Such a small change made such a big difference. I also took this opportunity to line the shelves with vinyl paper from the container store and shifted it up a peg or two, literally. Another obvious discovery made during the overhaul.

Well now, look at our beautiful baby!!!! Everything matches and fits so nicely in the cabinet. Yes I know I forgot to take the full before picture, but why live in the past people! Look at the present! Enjoy it, see (gazing into this beautiful space)…awwwwwwwwww!!! lol yeah I know I have issues, but I tell you opening this cabinet brings a sense of calm now and it makes me very very happy. Now if only I can figure out how to get the bowls on their own shelf, but we use wayyyyy too many glasses to do that…so for now, they will share their space with the plates and saucers.
